I’m Patrick Krassnitzer, an industrial designer and product developer based in Austria. My work combines creativity with technical expertise, moving seamlessly from early concepts to fully realized products.
After earning a Master’s degree in Advanced Product Design from the Umeå Institute of Design, I gained experience both in-house and at design consultancies, collaborating with leading international brands. Besides working across a wide range of product design projects, my deep connection to subcultures and the outdoors naturally led to a passion for designing backpacks and all kinds of outdoor gear.
I founded my studio to support partners across the full design journey, from human centered research and strategy to ideation, prototyping, and market-ready products – guided by a versatile design approach that balances conceptual vision with hands on design execution.
If you're passionate about design or interested in collaborating on a project, feel free to get in touch.

Manufacturer: Michael Geser, Tischlerei Geser
HOI - is a shell chair which is consistently made of wood to provide a natural and harmonious seating experience. It was originally designed for the design competition “Handwerk + Form”, a competition that is combining design and craftsmanship to establish the relationships between local manufacturers and designers from Austria and abroad. The project was made in collaboration with the local carpentry Tischlerei Geser.
The seat and backrest are visually connected and lead to a straightforward and contemporary appearance. Transitions from bentwood to solid wood, sophisticated connections and the interplay of grain directions are intended to reveal and challenge the possibilities of craftsmanship.

PRODUCT FAMILY - The chair is the initial element of a coherent product family that also includes a bench and is intended for various applications in living rooms, dining rooms, cafes or waiting areas..
